Abstract: Simulationen werden heute in der Planungsphase und teilweise auch in der Betriebsphase
vor dem Produktionsstart eingesetzt und ergänzen ERP sowie MES. Zur effizienten
Unterstützung der Planung und Steuerung des laufenden Bet riebs mittels Simulationen
sind die Modelle mit den aktuellen Shopfloor-Daten zu aktualisieren und
Alternativen zu definieren, die simulativ validiert werden können. Hierzu muss eine
Kopplung der Simulation mit den Produktivsystemen erfolgen. Basis dieses neuen
Ansatzes bildet ein Agentensystem auf Grundlage von JADE und das Datenmodell
CMSD.

Abstract: As part of the demographic change, life expectancy is increasing and the population is growing older. This causes a higher need for medical care. The rise of neurological diseases (e.g. a 36 % increase in stroke rate from 2000 to 2025), in partic-ular, and the decreasing stroke mortality rate requires a higher capacity in the area of rehabilitation. The increasing number of persons who have to cope with severe neuronal diseases or side effects (e.g. movement restrictions up to paralysis) need extended therapeutic resources and more effective therapy methods. To generate this capacity, it is essential to develop automated assistive devices for therapy, which are accepted by therapists and patients likewise. One approach is the automation of existing and effective manual therapy methods for patients with neurological diseases. In this process, the aim is to develop user-friendly and portable assistive devices.

Abstract: Incremental sheet metal forming (ISF) at elevated temperatures is used to counteract the constraints of forming at room temperature (e.g. the resulting forming forces, formable materials, achievable deformation). However, the current state of the art does not only show the benefits of forming at elevated temperatures but also the fact that hot formed parts tend to be smaller than parts which have been formed at room temperature. Responding to this rather unwanted effect, this work intends to identify the shrinking effect and to develop a compensation strategy. This paper presents the approach as well as first experimental results to compensate inaccuracies in incremental sheet forming caused by local heating.
